I have been a long time Slack user. \u00a0I got on the Slack bandwagon not to long after it came into existence. \u00a0But I’m leaving Slack and moving over to Ryver. \u00a0I still like Slack. \u00a0The biggest problem I have with it is that I’m bored and quite frankly just done with it.<\/p>\n
I have used it very successfully for my business as well as a simple communication tool for personal use. \u00a0Now that I have started ByronDoss.com I want to try something different. \u00a0I don’t want to do the same ole’ Slack communication. \u00a0And this is where Ryver comes in.<\/p>\n
First, it is 100% free. \u00a0That is always a nice thing for any company or start-up. \u00a0Second, there isn’t a limitation on the number of posts. \u00a0In Slack, if you are using the free version, then there is a 10,000 post limit. \u00a0After that, the older posts are archived and you can’t access them unless you are a paid subscriber. \u00a0In Ryver, there isn’t that issue. \u00a0Third, there isn’t a limit on data. \u00a0Which is nice. \u00a0For ByronDoss.com I want to make sure that those who participate in discussions don’t need to worry about how much data or space their conversations are taking up. \u00a0Finally, I just like the look a little better. \u00a0Things seem to be laid out in a better way.<\/p>\n
Is Slack going away. \u00a0heck no! \u00a0It’s going to be around for a very long time. \u00a0But for me and what I want to do in the future, I think Ryver is a better way to do it.<\/p>\n
